Michael asks…
Is Playstation Vita going to feature full games?
Is the Playstation Vita going to feature full games or will it be like the PSP games where they had a chunk of content missing (Like WWE Smackdown VS. Raw + Tekken).
PS2 + PS3 versions of WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw had more customizable layers, and more content – while the PSP version did not.
Tekken had more content as well on the PS2 + PS3 versions, while the PSP sucked on a thumb again.
Is PS-Vita going to be a similar disappointment or will they finally provide decent copies of the games on the portable platform?
-thanks.
admin answers:
Yes, the PS Vita will have all (if not most) content that is translated from PS3/360 consoles to the PS Vita’s new medium. PS Vita’s flash format can expand from the current 4GB all the way up to the maximum capacity available for flash and rational for video game sies (a 32GB PS Vita came could hold a full AAA PS3 game and a half).
The fact that the PS Vita could be able to translate games so well is also the point of games such as “Ruin” and “Metal Gear Solid: Rising” which both use cross content play. I.e. You can pick up your PS3 and when you wish to go out, you can save your gamesave to the cloud, take your PS Vita boot up the online/3G and continue playing right where you left off on your PS3.
Feel free to ask me if you have any more questions or concerns.
Peace!
