Transfer Nintendo DSI downloaded games to the 3DS?

I want to trade in my DSI for the 3DS but I have games I downloaded from the DSware store.. How can I transfer them

admin answers:

The DSi can connect to the 3DS to transfer your games. It isn’t confirmed if you need a DSi or if you can use your Club Nintendo account. This feature also won’t be available for awhile either, It’s supposed to come out sometime in May.

Laura asks…

How do you pay for Virtual Console games on the Nintendo 3DS?

I have already updated my 3DS through the internet where I can have access to eshop. I want to know how to pay for whatever game I want to download on the shop, such as Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX or Super Mario Land. I heard you can’t use the Nintendo Points card to pay for the games.

admin answers:

You can use either a credit card or an eShop card.
For a credit card, you’ll give credit card information.
For an eShop card, you have to buy one, then input the code found at the back.

There should be something like ‘add funds’ when you go to the left options on the eShop.

Old Nintendo games on the 3DS?

I heard that you can play old games from Nintendo on the 3DS and I want to buy some old DS games for it but I heard that there is another slot to play old DS games and I can’t find it. I have the black DS and I can only see one port for it and that is for the 3DS games. I heard only 3DS games can fit in there. I also heard that you can download games from a special store that will come in later for a update. I wonder is this is what the Play coins feature was for? When you are walking around you unlock coins you can use at the store to download games? I would like to know how to play old Nintendo games and explain to me in greater detail what the play coins are used for?

admin answers:

The slot is for DS/3DS games. If you examine it you’ll notice with a DS game in it that there is a small gap on the left side which means the 3DS cards will be slightly wider then regular DS cards.

The Nintendo eShop update has been delayed because of the earthquake in Japan, it will have GameBoy, Gameboy Color games for download with Nintendo points, I’m not sure if it will have GameBoy Advance games or not.

It has a built-in pedometer that counts your steps, you get 1 play coin for 100 steps and you can get 10 play coins per day max. So far play coins can be used for the Mii Streetpass mini-games. Such as hiring a hero to rescue your Mii or buying a piece of the puzzle. They both cost 2 play coins each.

I’m guessing the old games will use the d-pad, a and b buttons, as the original gameboy/color did not have L,R, X or Y.

David asks…

Is there any nintendo 3ds rom websites to download games?

admin answers:

Sadly, No, 3DS has been hacked to run “Flash Cards” Like R4, Super-card, Acekard Etc. But They Haven’t Actually Emulated 3DS Games Yet. Not Long Though, I Heard Super-card Are Just Working Out The Kinks In The 3D System Menu, Should Be Ready By December This Year, But Remember This Will Require Heavy Illegalities, And I Don’t Think With All The Bad Flash Card Publicity That You can expect a 3D Flash Card anytime soon.
